Fam is a photo series of 26 portraits of 4 members of Sara Blokland’s family. They are all photographed individually in the family’s shared indoor environment. The title refers to the abbreviation, used in the Netherlands as a heading to address a family. The series explores the relations between the family members, their bodies, and their (staged) poses.
